Additions and renovations that match the home you already love

More space, a better layout, or a second suite — built to the same standard as our custom homes.

After 45+ years and hundreds of custom homes, we bring the same structural know-how and in-house cabinetry to additions and renovations. No mismatched add-on that screams "we ran out of room" — just more home that looks and feels like it was always there.

What sets us apart

A renovation done like a custom build

Additions live or die on the details where old meets new: the roofline, the floor levels, the finish. Because we're custom-home builders with our own cabinet and millwork shop, we treat an addition like a small custom home — structurally sound, properly permitted, and finished so it blends in instead of standing out.

Is this a good fit?

We're honest about the work we take on

Probably a good fit if…

  • You want the addition to look like it was always part of the home
  • You value structure and finish over the lowest quote
  • You're adding a suite, garage, workshop or real living space
  • You want one team from design through final trim
  • You're in Georgian Bay / Simcoe County

Probably not the right fit if…

  • You need a quick handyman patch-up
  • You're shopping purely on price
  • You want to manage a pile of separate trades yourself
  • It's a cosmetic-only job with no structural or finish work

Common questions

Additions & renovations, answered

Will the addition match my existing home?
That's the whole point. We plan the roofline, floor levels, siding and trim so new blends into old — not a bolt-on that looks like an afterthought.
Do you handle permits and engineering?
Yes. Additions almost always need drawings, structural engineering and a building permit — we manage all of it as part of the job.
Can you add a suite for family or rental?
Yes — in-law suites, garden suites and garage-with-apartment builds are some of our most-requested projects. We build them code-compliant and comfortable.
Do you do kitchens and interior renovations?
Yes, especially where our in-house cabinetry and millwork add value. We focus on renovations with real structural or finish work rather than quick cosmetic touch-ups.
How disruptive is an addition?
Less than most people fear, because one team runs the whole job on one schedule. We seal off the work, keep the site clean, and keep you informed.
Where do you work?
Georgian Bay and Simcoe County — Tiny, Tay, Midland, Penetanguishene, Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Blue Mountain, Barrie and Orillia.
